El grupo de Alergología Experimental e Inmunogenética (AEI, COL0000363) lo conforman investigadores del Instituto de Investigaciones Inmunológicas (III) de la Universidad de Cartagena, principal centro de investigación en alergología experimental del país y uno de los más avanzados en su campo a nivel mundial. El grupo es Categoría A1, la más alta clasificación otorgada por el Ministerio de Ciencias y apoya dos programas de postgrado del III: Maestría en Inmunología y Doctorado en Ciencias Biomédicas, ambos con acreditación de alta calidad del Ministerio de Educación Nacional. Además, es responsable de la enseñanza de Inmunología a nivel de pregrado en las Facultades de Odontología, Medicina y Enfermería de la Universidad de Cartagena.
